SorgPlus Sorghum - Blueberry & Almond Bircher


  1. In a saucepan, combine SorgPlus sorghum, water, sugar, and salt. Cook on high for 40 minutes.

  2. Once cooked, drain and pour into a medium sauce pan and add coconut milk and brown sugar.

  3. Cook over medium heat until the mixture starts to thicken, adding in the brown sugar once thick

  4. Add the blueberries.

  5. Add the lemon zest, vanilla extract

  6. Chill in the refrigerator overnight, at least 6 hours.

  7. Top with almonds and honey, and enjoy!

  8. Note – Add milk to mix if required.


1 cup SorgPlus, cooked & chilled

2 cups water

2 tablespoons brown sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup canned coconut milk

1 handful fresh blueberries

25gm slivered almond

30gm dried cranberries to taste
