-
Strain and rinse under Hot Water
Tips:
-
Cook SorgPlus Sorghum ahead of time and store in your fridge or freezer
-
Avoid using a large saucepan if cooking small amounts, as water will evaporate too quickly.
-
Keep covered during cooking process.
-
May substitute water with chicken, beef or vegetable stock for more flavour (optional).
-
For a softer stickier bite, add more liquid.
-
If a bit pasty because you’ve used too much liquid or cooked it too long, just spread open on a plate. Once it cools down, fluff up with a fork.
If cooked ahead of time and frozen or refrigerated, reheat in microwave or on the stovetop to loosen up the grains.
Add some water or olive oil or butter if a bit dry to your taste. Fluff up with a fork, the cooked SorgPlus Sorghum will not be soggy. SorgPlus Sorghum is a Non-GMO and Gluten–Free grain, grown locally.
