Cooking instructions - Stove Top: (A slow cooker, rice cooker, pressure cooker, microwave or thermomixer may also be used to cook SorgPlus Sorghum.)
Place 1 cup of SorgPlus Sorghum in a colander and rinse under cold water, to remove excess starch.
In a small saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a full boil. May add salt and or a vegetable oil to suit (optional).
Add 1 cup of SorgPlus Sorghum. Cover and bring back to a full boil for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to medium.
Reduce to heat to Medium and continue to cook until SorgPlus Sorghum reaches the desired texture.

Cook SorgPlus Sorghum ahead of time and store in your fridge or freezer
Avoid using a large saucepan if cooking small amounts, as water will evaporate too quickly.
Keep covered during cooking process.
May substitute water with chicken, beef or vegetable stock for more flavour (optional).
For a softer stickier bite, add more liquid.
If a bit pasty because you’ve used too much liquid or cooked it too long, just spread open on a plate. Once it cools down, fluff up with a fork.
If cooked ahead of time and frozen or refrigerated, reheat in microwave or on the stovetop to loosen up the grains.
Add some water or olive oil or butter if a bit dry to your taste. Fluff up with a fork, the cooked SorgPlus Sorghum will not be soggy. SorgPlus Sorghum is a Non-GMO and Gluten–Free grain, grown locally.
